The original Sinhala title of the autobiography
Footprints on the Wonderful Path to Buddhahood, written by
the Most Venerable Nā Uyana Ariyadhamma Mahāthera of Nā Uyana Forest Monastery, is:

LAKBUDUSASUNEHI MUDUNMALKADA

This book was translated into English by two translators.

The first English translation was carried out by Venerable I. G. Pasadika,
under the guidance and instructions of Venerable Rammutugala Buddhavaṁsa Mahāthera.

The second translation was undertaken by Mr D. J. Percy Silva, a lay devotee,
under the guidance of Venerable Digana Sugatavaṁsa Mahāthera.

We sincerely express our gratitude to Most Venerable Angulgamuwe Ariyananda Mahāthera and Venerable Rammutugala Buddhavaṁsa Mahāthera for their invaluable advice and guidance throughout the translation process. We also extend our sincere appreciation
to Venerable Digana Sugatavaṁsa Mahāthera for kindly explaining difficult passages in Pāli and Sinhala.

During the translation process, with permission from the original author, certain modifications and adaptations were made. The original work was presented in the form of conversations between
Venerable Rammutugala Buddhavaṁsa Mahāthera
and the Most Venerable Nā Uyana Ariyadhamma Mahāthera. Since much of the dialogue used traditional and older forms of expression, the language has been adapted into modern English
for easier understanding.
