About This Audio

Buddha Abhivādana (Salutation to the Buddha)

Buddha Vandana is the traditional Buddhist practice of paying homage and salutation to the Buddha. Conducted in the ancient Pali language, it is performed to express deep gratitude for the Buddha's teachings (Dhamma). Chanting the Vandana cultivates mindfulness, improves concentration, and anchors the mind in inner peace.

The Fundamental Steps of Buddha Vandana
