The Vandana is the traditional Pāḷi stanza recited to pay highest homage and reverence to the Buddha before commencing any Dhamma talk, meditation session, or chanting ceremony.

Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammā Sambuddhassa

English Translation:
Homage to Him, the Blessed One, the Exalted One, the Fully Enlightened One.
(I pay tribute to the Buddha, who has extinguished all defilements, attained ultimate truth, and achieved perfect awakening.)
