DhammaJāta 2024 Malay Ramadan Month Blood Donation Campaign

About This Journey

Promoting Youth – Gratitude, Service, and a Wholesome Social Ethos
Young people are the most dynamic and creative force in society.
They are the most active and energetic segment of the population.
The hope of a nation lies in its youth;
the future of a people lies in their young.
When the youth thrive, the nation thrives;
when the youth are strong, the nation is strong.

One has only one youth in a lifetime.
Now is the time to strive;
the future is the time to remember.
In youth, choosing dedication is choosing nobility.
Dedication elevates life, bringing transformation and transcendence.
May the brilliance of youth shine forth in service to the nation and to society.

This Blood Donation Campaign is jointly organised by SPS Youth (Jawi Buddhist Association Youth Section) and DhammaJāta Youth. Beyond enabling the community to cultivate merit and goodness, this activity serves a deeper purpose: to promote Buddhist education among young people, and to nurture and establish wholesome conduct and exemplary virtues within Buddhist youth.

Through such socially meaningful activities, we hope to encourage and inspire young people to take on responsibility with courage and dedication, cultivating the character and integrity to serve society and give back to the nation. May our youth radiate brilliance through service, shape a virtuous social climate, and uphold the values of truth, goodness, and beauty with broad vision.

DhammaJāta rejoices in and commends SPS Youth Chairman – YasaLoka (Bro. Mah Yee Hooi) and DhammaJāta Youth Committee Leader – Anila (Bro. Goh Ying Chao) for leading their teams in promoting youth service and contribution to society. We also extend our gratitude to Sobhita (Bro. Lim Lun Hui) , Secretary of SPS, for his support in bringing this virtuous endeavour to a successful completion, benefiting the community — with boundless merits.

The propagation and future development of Buddhism rest in the hands of the youth.
Young people need the guidance of the Dhamma;
the Dhamma needs the protection and support of the young.

Buddha Sāsanaṃ Ciraṃ Tiṭṭhatu.
May the Buddha's Dispensation be Prolonged.

"Sabbe Sattā Bhavantu Sukhitattā."
May all beings be Well & Happy. 🙏🙏🙏
