DhammaJāta Pilgrimage Group is a non-profit Buddhist organization dedicated to organizing domestic and international Buddhist pilgrimages and Grand Saṅgha Offerings.
The Group organizes sacred journeys to Buddhist holy sites around the world. Our pilgrimages are designed to deepen one's understanding and practice of Dhamma through direct experience of the places where the Buddha taught and attained enlightenment.
Operating purely on a non-profit basis, we take the Right Dhamma (Saddhamma) as our ultimate guidance. DhammaJāta Pilgrimage Group strives to serve as a pure bridge connecting Buddhist practitioners with the supreme fields of merit. By organizing pilgrimages to sacred Buddhist sites worldwide, short-term ordinations, intensive meditation retreats, and Grand Saṅgha Offerings, we guide the public to integrate practice into travel, cultivating both wisdom and blessings to perfect their path to Bodhi.

The Symbolism of Our “Emblem” & Meaning of
The Meaning of "DhammaJāta"
"Dhamma" — the teaching of the Buddha, the universal truth, the refuge of all beings.
"Jāta" — a splendid tapestry, blossoming flowers, dignity, and vibrant beauty.

The name "DhammaJāta" carries a twofold meaning:
The Splendor of the Dhamma Robe —
Just as the cīvara (monastic robe) is a symbol of dignity and renunciation, it represents the Saṅgha's pure conduct, with virtue as their garment and the Dhamma as their adornment.

The Dhamma in Full Bloom —
Like a garden of flowers in full bloom, it symbolizes the Dhamma spreading far and wide in the human realm, blossoming everywhere, benefitting countless beings.

The Symbolism of Our “Logo”
The Six Buddhist Colors: Represent the aura of the Buddha’s enlightenment, symbolizing our inclusive and global mission to reach all sectors of society.

The Meditator: Signifies the "Practice of the Dhamma." It reflects our focus on Step-by-step Learning (Gradual Path), guiding readers from theoretical knowledge to inner realization.

The Dhamma Wheel: Represents the perpetual motion of the Truth. It symbolizes our role as a multimedia and data-driven publisher, ensuring that the pure Dhamma continues to turn and transform lives in the modern era.

▎Our Mission & Objectives
1. Sustaining the Dharma-Life · Experiencing Pure Holy Living (Brahmacariya)
We invite venerable monks and meditation masters to lead practitioners in domestic and international short-term ordinations and intensive meditation retreats. This allows lay Buddhists to step away from worldly chaos, experience the pure, monastic lifestyle of the Sangha, dive deep into the Dhamma, and cultivate concentration (Samadhi) and wisdom (Panna) through strict discipline (Sila).

2. Following the Buddha's Footsteps · Sacred Pilgrimages Worldwide
Sacred sites are a living history of Buddhism. We organize pilgrimages to holy Buddhist sites globally, guiding practitioners to pay respects with reverence, repentance, and gratitude. By contemplating the Buddha’s teachings at these sacred spots, we use external holy sites to ignite our inner awareness.

3. Sowing Seeds in the Field of Merit · Grand Sangha Offerings
The Sangha is the supreme field of merit. Guided by purity, equality, and reverence, Fajin unites the collective vows of the public to host Grand Sangha Offerings both locally and abroad. This enables practitioners to forge wholesome connections, accumulate boundless blessings, and support the Sangha to ensure the long-lasting presence of the Triple Gem in the world.

4. Proximity to the Sangha · Relying on Spiritual Friends (Kalyana-mitta)
On the path of cultivation, relying on a spiritual teacher is of paramount importance. Fajin places special emphasis on creating opportunities for practitioners to stay close to and learn from pure monastic communities worldwide. Through respectful service and listening to the compassionate Dharma discourses (Desana) of virtuous masters, practitioners can clarify their doubts, ensuring they have a guiding light in both daily life and spiritual practice.

5. Cultivating Dual Blessings · Completing the Lay Practitioner’s Life
We advocate for the equal cultivation of "Blessings" (Merit) and "Wisdom." Pilgrimage and Sangha offerings accumulate the provisions of merit necessary for Buddhahood, while meditation and short-term ordination achieve the provisions of wisdom for liberation. We guide practitioners to walk steadily on the Bodhisattva path of self-benefit and benefiting others.
